Hi, I’m Julie, a Registered Dietitian based in Durban, South Africa. I trained at UKZN and qualified in 2007. I work in public and private healthcare and remain passionate about helping people take the confusion out of nutrition and turn it into something simple, practical, and sustainable.
I work with individuals managing conditions like diabetes, PCOS, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and gut health concerns, as well as anyone wanting to build a healthier lifestyle without feeling restricted.
I enjoy working with individuals on a one-on-one basis, even more so when it’s a family approach and I thrive in corporate wellness days and events as well as giving talks and representing nutrition in media.
My approach is evidence-based but also realistic, because food should fit into your life, not the other way around. I believe in small, achievable changes that add up to big results over time.
When I’m not in practice, you’ll usually find me experimenting in the kitchen, enjoying Durban’s outdoors, being a mom to my 2 girls and crafting.
