Cooking Gluten Free Wholegrains

June 12, 2018

I would like to encourage you to try cooking more wholegrains this year which I why I have compiled some simple “recipes” for cooking grains.  Most of them are gluten free too so suitable for anyone with allergies. I have to admit, I am not a major rice fan (and thankfully neither is my husband) which leaves the only other more common go-to starch options of pasta and potatoes.  I much prefer cooking with wholegrains but sometimes they can be a bit tricky to find and then to cook.  I have removed the guess work for cooking these grains with my simple cooking instructions for exciting grains to try.

Amaranth

Millet

Buckwheat

Polenta

Quinoa
