Well, for most of April I will travelling overseas (2017) so I will be missing out on some of these in stores but I am certain to try get in as much before we go.
Vegetables: Jerusalem artichokes, leeks, cucumber, radishes, spinach, cabbage, cucumber, tomatoes, turnips, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, parsnips, beetroot and carrots.
Starchy Veg: Pumpkin, sweet potatoes, potatoes and butternut.
Fruit: Apples, pears, lemons, grapes, pineappless and avocados (YAY).
So thrilled avocados are coming back in season – I love using them in every dish (and any excuse for more Mexican right?). Also – some tropical fruit like pineapples will be more affordable and I cannot wait to eat them in Bali AND when we get home!
